I'm pretty sure the Leafs will make many trades....
They need 2 centers and 3 D-men....or the other way round..something like that..

Wouldn't the FLyers be weary of trading a forward to us for one of our Dmen considering the way the last one panned out? |

That would be a horrible way to think of a trade. Yeah they (frank)ed us last time, but lets not better our team out of spite. |

Mike Augello: Leafs Search For Centers Continues - mikeinbuffalo
Wild, wacky, outside of the box thought here, but what about trying Kulemin as our #3 centre?
He's a good two-way player. Tough on the boards. Willing to take a hit.
Push McClement up to #2 until Blozak returns, and hope that Kadri wows us.
It's not a recipe for a Stanley Cup, but it may just be enough to keep us afloat until the end of November.
Remember: we don't have any cap wiggle room. |

I have a feeling Gardiner is on his way out myself.
Especially with Rielly looking as good as he has a lot sooner than a lot of people (myself including) expected.
I was a staunch "Send him down after a handful of games, he's not ready" guy but after five or so games when he started settling his nerves down he made me into a believer. His skating is just phenomenally effortless. |

Why so high on Couturier? His development offensively has been awful, and we already have enough 3rd line centers as it is.
If were willing to trade Gardiner it should be for a piece we need, not a temporary hole created by an injury. |

Pretty sure Kulemin can't do much worse in faceoffs than Bolland was anyways. |
